Hey,

Can you double check that the folder apps/common/runtime/mutex exists and it's writable by the web server and also empty ?

Thanks.

This is very wrong...and there is a special note that says you shouldn't put your backup folder in the public html..
You should place the backups folder in /home/whatever/backups not in /home/whatever/public_html/backups.

that's where it's at /httpdocs/backups/mailer Isn't /httpdocs my home or domain?

Looking at the dates of my backup I think it's working fine on my original path stated above. It's just that I get an error ( http://prntscr.com/19g7drz ) when I click on the Create New Backup Snapshop button. When I click the back button I'm taken to my backup page

/var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/
This is your home on the server.

That's because it takes too much time to create the backup and your web server doesn't wait for it. If you take a look at your screenshot, you also have a backup for the same day at midnight, so automatic backups works, because there, there is no webserver so the backup process can run for as long as needed.
