Move to sub domain and install WP on main domain

Hi. What is the easiest and best way to move current install to a subdomain and be able to install WP on main domain?

Hello Mats,

Very simple way you can do that.

Create a subdomain and move your Mailwizz application folder to that subdomain folder and also shift database.

After that, you can install WP on your main domain.

Check https://kb.mailwizz.com/articles/migrating-mailwizz-to-a-new-server/ as well, it tells you what you have to do after migration, like making sure folders are still writable and cron jobs adjusted.

And you also need to regenerate your URLS.

1) Login to your backend
2) go to [%yourdomain%/backend/index.php/settings/system-urls]
2) click "Regenerate urls"
