Include / Exclude Lists From Campaign

Hi,

I have a quick question to make:

---> How can include / exclude lists (subscribers) from a campaign?

If it was already posted, i'd appreciate a link to the thread (googled it but found nothing).

Guys, this tool is AWESOME. I love it.

Best Regards,

Diego.

Hi Twisted,

I've tried "Segments" but if i'm not wrong...

You can use it to filter (target) a subscriber > from the same list.

What i'm trying to do is different.

Suppose that i have 2 lists:

- List "A" with 100 subscribers.
- List "B" with 300 subscribers.

Both lists have 10 subscribers in common (390 unique).

Question 1: How do i send a broadcast that Includes Both Lists (and without
sending the email twice to the repeat subscribers - the 10 subscribers).

Question 2: How do i send a broadcast that Includes List "A" but Excludes
List B
(won't send to the 10 emails that the lists have in common).

This is a very valuable feature that i'm using with Aweber but don't know
how to use it with MailWizz.

I'd appreciate if someone can help with this.

Thanks,

Diego.

Update: Found what may be part of the answer in another post (how to "Include" other lists when sending a campaign).

"It is somehow, but it will create a merged list in the end, from all your selected list, and i am not sure that thsi is what you want, but in case it is, go to Backend -> Settings -> Customers -> Campaigns and look for "Send to multiple lists" and set it to Yes."

This allows me to send a broadcast to multiple lists so this one is solved.

My updated questions:

Q1: Excluding Lists.
How can i "Exclude" lists from a broadcast? (Example: I want to send broadcast to "List A"
excluding from it, all the subscribers from "List B" - subscribers that may have in common).

Q2: Sending to Multiple Lists - How Duplicate Subscribers are Treated?
Suppose that i include 3 lists for a campaign and the 3 lists have 1 email in common.
Will that person receive only one email right?

Thanks once again,

Diego.

Q1: Excluding Lists.
How can i "Exclude" lists from a broadcast? (Example: I want to send broadcast to "List A"
excluding from it, all the subscribers from "List B" - subscribers that may have in common).
Can list sync help here? ( /customer/index.php/lists/tools/index )

Q2: Sending to Multiple Lists - How Duplicate Subscribers are Treated?
Suppose that i include 3 lists for a campaign and the 3 lists have 1 email in common.
Will that person receive only one email right?
No, the lists are merged into a new one and dupes are excluded.

Hi Twisted,

Thanks for your reply.

From what i see, the Sync function alters a list(deletes subscribers in common from a list etc)
and in a dynamic context (new subs every day), it won't help.

The aweber feature that i'm describing ("Exclude"list/s from a campaign) does not alter lists and has big benefits.

Example: You have 2 lists....

1) List 1: Free Subs (People Who Subscribed to get a "Freebie")
2) List 2: Buyers (People Who Purchased a Product).

Both lists may have subscribers in common and i may want to send campaigns to my "Free" list more frequently... excluding the "Buyers" list from these broadcasts.

Maybe something like this (selecting lists to "exclude") could be
applied right after we have selected a list, and started a campaign).

Thanks,

Diego.
