Development of Drag and Drop editor.

Hi guys,

This is already a over rated subject, but i like to keep you guys informed and let you know that these days we signed a development contract with a company specialised into building drag and drop editors and they started development on our own Drag and Drop builder which should be done till the end of the summer.

I know this is a long due subject but i also want you guys to see that i don't give up on things that you need and in a way or another i'll make them happen, even if this means investing couple thousand dollars and lots of hours ;)

Let's hope for the best and hope no hiccup will happen during development.
I'll keep this thread updated as progress is being made, we will start with a very minimal editor but created from the scratch with the ability to be extended with various functionality.

Please note that right now we have a proper set of specifications and functionality for the editor and we don't accept suggestions. We will accept suggestions in the future though.

The only drag & drop editor I would use is a drag & drop editor where I can create my own drag & drop elements, with my own html code. Html for emails is not simple. You have to write perfect code to make the email work in all major mail clients (and keep the file size as small as possible). And none of the visual editors I've tried so far were able to create good newsletters.

I look forward to try it.

We can still cut & paste html code into the source content box, right?
The drag & drop html email builder will only replace the ckEditor, right?

The only plugin I would trust is the one coming from the developers of the platform itself.

I am not sure what you mean with this, we always keep things open in the forums, most of the time you just have to ask in case you don't see what you are after...

Ok so what I meant was, when will development be done or implemented, this month, next month?????
