delete subsriber through API

Hi, I can successfully add subscriber via API, but cant delete. It returns with error as "Forbidden".
I am using this method:
$response = $endpoint->deleteByEmail('some unique id', 'example@email.com');

I tested this right now and it seems to be working just fine:
