Bounced Emails Amazon SES API

Hi,

Our mailwizz is connected to Amazon SES via API. We just sent our first campaign :)

I can see a lot of bounced emails in the campaign report.

What do I as a mailwizz admin or customer need to do with these emails?

Don't these bounced emails automatically get unsubsribed from the list?

If they are Soft Bounced they will get retried (default 5 times) then the email will be classed as blacklisted.

If they are Hard Bounced they will get blacklisted.

Blacklisted members then wont receive email in the next campaign.

Thank you, the "number of subscribers" column in list view still shows the same number despite the fact that there are a lot of subscribers who have been blacklisted. Should I be manually deleting these blacklisted subscribers to keep the numbers up to date?

Yeah their status changes from "confirmed" to "blacklisted" so although they are in the list they wont be emailed.

There is a daily cron that removes them from the list completely I think this is set default as 0 days so you would have to change that number if you wanted them to be completely removed but I have not used that option so have not tested
