Emails not getting signed with DKIM

I've been using Mailwizz for a couple of years, but have never used the 'customer' function.

I've now:
- added a customer (/backend/customers/index)
- created a sender domain 'customerdomain.com) (/sending-domains/index), set DKIM signing to 'yes', validated the DNS and linked the domain to the customer (locked = yes)
- created a tracking domain 'c.customerdomain.com) (/backend/tracking-domains/index), which I linked to the customer
- added the DKIM record to the DNS, validated with dkimcore.org and seems valid
- created a delivery server, coupled the tracking domain and linked to the customer

Now, when I login as the customer and when I send an email (with Mail.From using @customerdomain.com) it is not being signed with DKIM (tested with https://analyze.email).
I've tried and tried, but nothing seems to work.

What am I doing wrong?

What delivery server type are you using?

I'm using Mailchannels with the 'SMTP mySMTP.com' delivery server type.
Is that wrong and can that be the reason for not signing with DKIM?

Now also added a second delivery server with type 'SMTP', same thing is happening.
