Sending Domain Reputation vs IP Reputation

Hi there!

I am getting a lot of messages blocked by Gmail with the following code:
smtp;550 5.7.1 [188.240.210.16 19] Our system has detected that this message is likely suspicious due to the very low reputation of the sending domain. To best protect our users from spam, the message has been blocked.

So for what I can tell, they are fine with the IP of my SMTP server, but they don't like the sending domain.
Is it the sending domain the FROM?

Is it important to warm up both the sending domain and the IP of my SMPT server?

Yes, if you use dedicated IPs in SMTPs providers . you should warm up your IPs. you can use some services that help you to warmup your IPs and domain.

yeah, just recently faced similar problems and found several recommendations, so glad to share:

1. Better not to use the .club domain for sending because all spammers usually purchase cheap domains like .club, .org, .email, etc, so they by default have a low reputation, use only .com / .net - they cost more but works better and it easier to warm-up them;

2. Once you purchased a new domain it automatically blacklisted for 30 days, I don't know why, but you should leave it for a month before use, otherwise, you can ruin your reputation completely;

3. You always need to warm up your email & IP before sending, luckily, there are different warm-up services you can use - I spent a month finding them o_O Currently I use two:
- http://warmupinbox.com/ - cost $9 per month per email;
- https://www.allegrow.co/ - they have a special offer on AppSumo

4. For sending better to use real email where recipients can reply to;

Thank you both so much for your reply.

I will explain a little bit my goal here, I might create its own thread for it as well. What I want to achieve is to be able to send 1000/h for my clients as a bulk service. I have many clients with lists and I want to start helping them sending those emails instead of paying Mailchimp fees which are really high.

Right now what I have is POSTAL SMTP configured on a VPS and MailWizz on a shared hosting. I can move Mailwizz to the VPS as well if that makes more sense.

4 vCores, 8 GB RAM & 200 GB SSD
  • Full Virtualization
  • 100% Fast SSD Storage
  • Quick Provisioning

I also have two IPS configured with on that VPS to do some rotation if needed.

So far I have to try to warm up the IP/Domain but when I reach day 5 or so, I get either the IP or the sending domain block.

Please note I don't have good lists or contacts to do the warm-up. I only have the lists my clients provide to me.

Any recommendations?
 
As @Mayakovskii told you can use warmup service systems.
As well we launch a system for warmup process. If you would like send me pm to give you access of our portal.
And one other thing, it's better to have at least 8 IPs in postal.
