Zapier to mailwizz best method

This is not working for me... can anyone confirm that it is working on MW 2.X+?

Zapier is receiving the data correctly, and the Zap history shows it performing the automation successfully, but my MW list is not updated with new subscribers.

I might have to try this soon since I simply have too many requests from clients who need integrations on platforms that do not directly support MailWizz out of the box.
However, the whole point for us is to connect with the double opt-in process. So if zaps are still being treated as imports, which rightly ignore the double opt-in, this is not a solution for us.
Have there been any updates on this side to make integrations a little more user-friendly and less reliant on nifty developers?
