Turns out my WordPress was out of date/version. I can now confirm that this baby works well with the latest WordPress releases.

That's at least interesting But glad it works. You should still look for the above plugins since those are much more featured than this simple one.

Not sure if the plugin still works but the guys from easy social share buttons added support for mailwizz on their last version
