What is the encription method to storage the user password in DB

Hi.

I just installed MW and I forgot my password. The server in where I have installed doesn't send the recovery password email.

I would like to change directly in database in table mw_users. I tried to put the new password to the user using md5 but it is the same: I can't to access to my account.
