Using gsuite smtp and gsuite bounce server; could there be issues?

I'm using a gsuite account as my smtp and from address so i can get replies in the same inbox. So far any bounces just get send to my inbox in gmail and I would blacklist them manually. I tried using another random gmail account to be my bounce server but it never worked. It only seems to work when I use the same gsuite account I send from.

Could there be any drawbacks from doing this? I've read in other posts that using a gmail bounce server can get you blocked but I'm receiving the bounce emails anyway so is having it in mailwizz as well a problem?
 
Our advice is to not use gmail for bulk sending emails because at some point they might block you and their service is really not meant for bulk mailing.
To reply to your above question, if it works, it works, there's no drawback.
