Url rewrite

Hi,
exist a way to safely rewrite the full url?
I need change http://demo.mailwizz.com/backend/index.php/guest/index to http://demo.mailwizz.com

I need only for customer pages but is not a problem if is a global settings.

@nemesis82 - but that is the backend area which people would go to if they simply type your domain name, why do you need to do this ?

in reality I need only for customer area ( I have copied backend area only for example ) . My purpose is to show for customer area only the root path of the url and not the full url . My need is to do it in a easy and safety way ( don't break other area or link such as tracking url ) .
