unsubscribe from list merged

A lot of clients get issue when a user unsubscribe from list merged, in fact when a user unsub contintue to receive newsletter from principal list and other list merged, I think to solve this mwizz need to unsub to all list of user.
The other way is to display a page where the user can choose the lists to unsubscribe, but the merged are not very beauty to see, they have always strange name and is not a good option to show that. what do you think about? thx

@Niko - If you edit your merged list, you have an option to unsubscribe the users from other lists when they unsubscribe from the merged list, so use that

Hi,
yes, this option seems to work (this option is even selected by default when a merge is created, that is a very good thing), except when creating a campaign to send to a list AND an already-merged lists, making it create a "MERGED - MERGED - [List names]" list.
Or when the user sends to multiple merged lists, creating yet another merged.

In these cases, the user should be unsubscribed from this chain of merged lists all the way down to the original list, but the process somehow is interrupted and the user stays subscribed in many merged lists and in the original one.
Is this something that could be solved? Could you take a look?

Unfortunately i don't think we have a solution for this at the moment :-s

maybe u can set this: when subscribe remove from list of account the system can unsub to all lists.

...maybe instead of merging, it could 'internally' create a camp for each list and then avoid sending duplicates by deducting each done list from the next?

You'd end up with several campaigns, wouldn't be nice...

If there is a better way, that would be great, otherwise, those separate camps could be invisible and only the aggregate for view?

@angron - yes, this is implemented and will be available in 1.4.5

@angron - have you tried to select the "Select All" option ? From now own if you do that, it should stay checked after you save and even if you add new lists, they'll appear checked in this page as well.
