Unique Clicks not showing correctly in Google Analytics by MailWizz

@twisted1919, Few of my users reported that the campaigns stats shows higher number of unique clicks on particular website link but on Google analytics it's very very less.

For example:
MailWizz - 147 Clicks (Unique)
Google Analytics - 26 sessions

What to do? Looking for your help. Thanks

As i said in the support ticket, it would be a problem if mailwizz would track 10 clicks and actually there would be 100 clicks, because it would miss 90 clicks.
If mailwizz records more clicks than the 3rd party then it means the 3rd party use other metric to measure clicks.

Google Analytics does not show the exact values. It's a well known fact. Just Google it.

So in this case, trust MW.

@OptiBiz1 @twisted1919, Thanks for your help. We completely trust MailWizz as using it from years now, but it's very difficult to convince user that Google is wrong and we're right ;)

@frm.mwz, Any suggestion?

Looking for some help or tricks.

One way to cope with this might be
to use the most authoritative sources, where GA miscounting is explained/proven,
and have these referenced in the FAQ for your users.

Thanks for your reply. I think that would be good but the FAQ should be on some of the best known websites, because otherwise users won't be trusting.

This sort of problem doesn't come with other Tools like MailChimp, Interspire, Sendgrid, etc. Why MailWizz? :(

Looking for suggestions.

Thanks

That is exactly why I wrote "authoritative", because you need to select the links at the most trusted (authoritative) organizations (where the miscounting is explained), e.g. if google would say it themselves, or yahoo, or any reviewer who has a track record or conducting thorough and peer-reviewed and numerous times recognized analysis.
If you search for "google analytics miscount" or "google analytics inaccurate"
you find some interesting links ;)

If GA miscounts, then the problem is everywhere, why do you think it is not there at the other (self)hosted apps?

@frm.mwz, Thanks for your suggestions and sources.

I feel something is wrong but not sure why & what. Because I used same list, exactly same campaign with MailChimp, Interspire, Sendgrid, etc. all show what is visible in Google Analytics.

But with MailWizz it's showing 100 unique clicks within app but on Google Analytics shows 10-20 sessions.

Thanks

Well, the metrics seem to be different: clicks vs sessions.
You could have e.g. 5 different links in an email, but all clicked 10x by one subscriber,
which would be 50 clicks, 5 unique clicks, 1 session (if session means 1 subscriber showing activity within given time frame per email).

We're only taking about unique clicks and unique email ids ;)

How is 'session' defined and what app?
Session is the new/returning user by unique for that day in GA. So we're talking about unique email ids and unique click by them, not all of their clicks.

Hope I was able to make it understandable :) Thanks
