Tracking domain error

Hello, we just added the 5 tracking domains to Mailwizz below. Sent a test email and the links come back with a "Error 404 - Not Found" page.

trk.yesyouown.com
trk.usmomma.com
trk.viewfedrate.com
trk.wephilfb.com
trk.bizzeasiest.com

From research online it looks like each domain needs to be also set as an alias of the main server domain (emailwhizard.com)? Is there a quick fix to this that does not involve editing Apache/Nginx config files each time a tracking domain is setup?

@Douglas Shrader - It does not seem your tracking domains are properly set up. When you access the tracking domain, you need to see MailWizz. If you don't, its not properly configured.
I see you're using cpanel, so you might need to add the tracking domains as aliases to your main domain and also generate ssl certificates for them.

Ok what are the steps to add the tracking domains above as aliases to the MW server domain? Another article said to remove the tracking subdomains from cpanel and only have them in cloudflare to use the built in SSL that cloudflare generates. That is current setup. Only the alias step is missing. Thanks

Good afternoon, Can yo uhelp us get this issue fixed. We have root access to the server

Hello,

The 404 happens because your tracking domains are not yet set as aliases of your main MailWizz domain on the server. Even if DNS and Cloudflare SSL are correct, the webserver must still be told to serve MailWizz for those domains.
The fix is:
  1. Add each tracking domain as a server alias for your main MailWizz domain.
  2. Ensure SSL covers them (via Cloudflare or Let’s Encrypt).
  3. Once done, visiting any tracking domain should show the MailWizz frontend instead of 404.
Best,
Laurentiu
