Sub. exists redirect with "custom tags"

Just being stupid I'm sure, but is there a useful KB article or other more detailed description about how to pull in custom tags (as opposed to custom fields?) to be showing on the external URL?

Did you try to simply add them and they didn't work?
I would be surprised if they would work TBH, they are not meant to be parsed in that area directly.

Like common tags defined for subscribers, the one from custom fields..
