Sendmux Web API: route MailWizz campaigns across multiple SMTP, Gmail and Outlook accounts

Hi all, If you send cold email or run bulk campaigns across more than one sending account, we built a free extension you might find handy.

What it does

It adds a new delivery server type to MailWizz. You connect your sending accounts (Gmail, Outlook / Office 365, or any SMTP) to Sendmux once and then point MailWizz at a single endpoint. When you send a campaign, Sendmux spreads it across all your connected accounts for you.

Why it helps if you send at volume

  • Per-account rate limits you set per second, minute, hour and day, so no single account gets pushed harder than you want.
  • Automatic failover. If a provider starts failing, Sendmux routes around it with no downtime.
  • Randomised sending inside your limits to keep the pattern looking natural.
  • Bounces and complaints come back into MailWizz over webhooks and blacklist the subscriber for you, so your list hygiene keeps working as normal.

MailWizz still runs everything you'd expect: campaigns, lists, subscribers, templates, unsubscribes. Sendmux only handles the routing after you hit send. It's the plumbing under your delivery, nothing more.

Requirements

  • MailWizz 2.0.0 or higher
  • PHP 8.0 or higher
  • A free Sendmux account

Full disclosure: we're the team behind Sendmux, so we're biased. We built this feature because a lot of MailWizz users were already asking us how to spread their sending across several cold email inboxes, so we figured we'd make it properly. We're open to any feature requests, so if there's something you'd like it to do, let us know in the comments.
