Sending unsubscribe notification to ex-subscriber

Hello! I see that there is a place to specify an email address for subscribe and unsubscribe notifications. Can a confirmation be sent to the person unsubscribing? Is there a way to view/edit the content of that email?

You're looking after "double opt-out", which can be enabled in your email list settings. Once you do this, people will get a confirmation email to unsubscribe.

Is there a way to view/edit the content of that email?

In Backend > Settings > Email Templates you can see all editable email templates.

@twisted1919 For double opt-out, does that email require them to click another link to unsubscribe, or is it just a notice that they were successfully unsubscribed? I'm just looking for a notice, not another step.

Also, I don't see that template in the email templates area.

@chris.p - if double out-out is selected a confirmation email will be sent to unsubscribe.

Email templates are in Backend > Settings > Email Templates > Common email templates

Ah ok, yeah I'm not looking to add another step for the user to the unsub process - just to send a final email confirming their unsubscribe status. Is there a way to do that by chance?
