Hi is there any tutorial how to set up segments i have 25k ppl on my list, and overtime i make a freebie i need to set up a new list. Is there any way to add email to main list as a segment. If so can someone explain how to do it step by step? And also is there any way to send two different emails to customers who are new to list at all and to those who are already sign up?

@EVA - The way segments works is very simple, they allow you to split your list based on various condition applied on your list custom fields. So you can define custom fields on your list and then when you create a segment, you can use those fields to only filter certain subscribers.

Maybe via autoresponders?

# go to the list you want to segment
# add new custom field, with the values you define you will have your segments, make sure your set the default (empty is oft not useful)
# when subs open/click, you can set the field value

I do not see anywhere in the segment area to select customer based on activity.
