Personalised Attachments

This may already be possible, but I couldn't find anything in the forums.

It would be great if there was a way to attach pesonalised attachments, i.e. each recipient receives his/her own attachment.

This is possible with having a download link in the email, but we need to send actual attachments for a specific project. The idea is to add a field in which the attachment is specified using custom tags. When an email is sent it looks for that recipient's own attachment in a repository and attaches it.

What do you think?

How is the naming automated for the ftp upload files (custom-field-value-subscriber-X.pdf)?
That's up to you, you can use any automated process where you name your files like [WHATEVER_FIELD].pdf where [WHATEVER_FIELD] is a custom field defined in your list custom fields.

Yeah, that would be after the part with 'subscriber-X' exists.
But what about creating the custom files for each with that custom part 'subscriber-X'?

The other thing that comes to mind, is the watermarking & pwd protecting of PDFs, so you upload one pdf, and the app/extension would watermark per subscriber (e.g. with any tag or just their email address) and then pwd protect each file before it goes out. This would be cool ;)

You'd do this externally of mailwizz. Again, mailwizz doesn't do a thing related to this, it's you who should provide the PDF in the format you wish and with the data you wish. Using this extension you just tell mailwizz what attachment to load ;)

Then it still needs the connection to the subscriber specific data, hence the request for automation,
since otherwise it is either an extra integration or a manual job.
And once there would be automation, then the other thing would be e.g. the marking/protection as mentioned above.
Then it would be very useful immediately for many more purposes, that's why the input.
