Did you a test campaign to yourself and opened a few? This would show you if things work.
Also, have a look into the many stats and logs, this will also give you a hint, how things went out.

Not sure if I understand correctly, are you saying test emails arrived in the test mailboxes? (see if they went out: delivery server logs)
Make sure you have a few different test mailboxes (on own server, gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc) to observe: what happens in each case?
Did you enable tracking?
Can you post results from mail-tester.com?
Keep in mind some stats update within a few minutes (not immediately).
