Monitor "sent" and "open" activities by one custom field

Hello,

I would like to monitor the sent and open activities of a campaign. I make a custom field `M Tutorial Videos` for a list and have the settings as the following screenshot.

I expect this scenario: if the campaign was sent to a recipient, `M Tutorial Videos` of the recipient became "Open in MailWizz". If the recipient opened the email, then its `M Tutorial Videos` became "Sent in MailWizz". I assume that, given a recipient, if "open" happens, it happens always after "sent".

In the end, we consider that all the receipient who has "Sent in MailWizz" did not open the email.

However, since sent and open can happen very quickly (sometimes triggered automatically by some mail providers), will this setting always perform well? Is my assumption ("open" always happens after "sent") valid?

Yes, that is correct. Also MailWizz provide you these settings: Smart open tracking and Smart click tracking which will exclude this: triggered automatically by some mail providers, these options can be enabled in the setup step when you create campaign.
