I see that many of the people here run their own ESP and have customers etc.
I had a following questions about running my own ESP and hoping some of you might answer it . Rough numbers are fine, I am just trying to get an idea.

1. Monthly cost(everything included) -
2. How many months has it been since you started your own ESP -
3. No. of monthly paying customers -
4. You ever did paid advertising? -

a few general answers, to give ballpark numbers

1. Monthly cost(everything included): depends on the number of customers, but you can start with a $20/mth server and upgrade it as needed (if you choose the right provider who can upgrade on the fly)
   
2. How many months has it been since you started your own ESP: could have been started half a year after mwz started til now
   
3. No. of monthly paying customers: from a few hundred to a over several tens of thousands
   
4. You ever did paid advertising: since that is cheap, it pays
