How to do version Upgrade? Are they automatic?

Hi all,
My colleague who schedules the Email campaigns noticed that the Campaign Report format has changed for no apparent reason. It went from Portrait to Landscape.
Also she said the system had "stopped responding" for a couple hours.
She asked me if I had done a version upgrade.

I have not done any upgrades.

So 2 questions...

1. Does MailWizz do Automatic Version Upgrades??? Is there a setting?
2. Where can I find the steps to properly do a Version Upgrade without breaking the system? We usually have campaigns running constantly...so it must be carefully scheduled to not interrupt sending.
