How to change the skin color?

Hello guys,

I wanted to change the skin color to a costume one. I have created a new skin file "skin-blue-izo.css"
changed the background color, but I still get the old color

.skin-blue-izo .main-header .navbar {
  background-color: #286CBA;
}

I'm 100% sure that I m doing it wrong, I wante to know how to properly change the skin color?

Please help me out.

What you can do is change in any existing color CSS. And apply that.

I did changed the color code but I still got the old one showing instead of the new one.

Pls read carefully.

Change in existing color CSS file of color code and then from backend apply that skin.

After change, did you clear Cache ?
