hourly quota messing up ?

We have the following setting for a delivery server

hourly quota = 2917

We do have multi threading enabled ...

We are seeing a consistent error / bug that we simply cannot account for

Last night, a customer sent a mail of 48,595 emails which with a hourly quota of 2917 should have taken 16.6 hours, however it was fully sent in only 3:34 hours.

Could anyone please point us in the right direction or shed some light on this as it defies logic math ....

@twisted1919 , if this has been addressed in the newest beta please let us know, we are currently running 1.3.8.5 in production.

Have you tried setting quotas for customer groups? (Those are quota settings that work for me, even with pcntl).
