Domain Reputation

On my website I use mailgun for my transaction emails (order emails, shipped etc). For my email campaigns I use amazon ses. Can doing this affect my domain reputation even though my mailgun is setup to send emails from a sub domain (mg.mydomain.com)? Should I use a different domain for sending my campaigns?

Thanks

subdomains have completely separate reputations to your main domain so you can do whatever you like. This is why a subdomain is best practice for your cold outreach / newsletters

Thanks. Do you think its because im using a share ip with mailgun that those emails are landing in gmail spam?

It was often spammed under a shared IP Mailgun, but we switched to a larger package and had 1 dedicated IP address. We haven't had a problem with him since.
