cron is running but some campaigns not sending

Artisan Send

Mailwizz installed on Digital Ocean (8GB Ram, 4 cores).
Separate stand-alone MySQL server (also 8GB Ram, 4 cores, on Digital Ocean)
I'm using the parallel send-campaigns. Sending through a dedicated SMTP server running Green Arrow.

Q1.) in my cron does the number of parallel campaigns need to correspond to the number of live campaigns?
Q2.) Do campaigns expire after 7 days? If so where would I change this setting?

ps tells me:

exactly the same thing happens. Even if I reboot.

One campaign has got 12% through (310,000 of 2,583,000) and then stops...

Other campaigns (40% of 2,583,000) are still sending...

The way I saw it, I thought "well, if it's set to send 1 campaign in parallel, but then a second process starts, logic dictates that it'll take the next campaign that needs sending" - rather than all of them working on the same campaign...
