bounce discrepancy

When using an MTA (like PowerMTA) we always see a difference between the bounced emails in the MTA Logs and the bounced in Mailwizz.

In the bounce server (email address bounce@) there are even less emails.

So usually it happens that the MTA platform says there are 6000 bounces. Mailwizz says there are 600 bounces. In the bounce@ address there are around 20 emails.

Why there are so many different numbers?

someone have similar issue?

The PMTA completely different handler failures ... There's a special plugin for this is that you need to properly set up yet
 
There's also the fact PMTA will also contain bounces that have nothing to do with the subscriber, like emails not being accepted by the remote server because that server doesn't like the pmta ip address or the like.
