Apache Going Down

We’ve got an installation of MailWizz on a server where every night apache is crashing. It doesn’t happen when email sending is at peak, rather when it is quietest, and a good few hours after sending has gone quiet.

When it happens the website loads as normal except for the Campaigns page on front-end. Sometimes we also get API issues after this.

If we auto-reset apache it just leaves the campaigns stuck.

Any ideas what could cause it?
 
Maybe it happens when people start opening and clicking links in the campaign ?
I am sure there are apache optimizations tutorials out there, so maybe that's what you have to do.
Keep in mind, when sending happens, it sends via command line, it has nothing to do with apache.
