Hi I have searched on the forum but could not find any answer to my question so I opened this topic.

We would like to send up to 2Millions email per day, which server configuration would be the best for us?

Hey,
2 Millions email per day means you should have a lot's of IP steady and ready for rotation....
Sending 2 Millions email per day is not even the problem...

First, if you really want your mails to get delivered to that amount of subscribers in a day, your list must be permission based list. The reason goes thus; once you start sending that kind of mails to a not permission based list... Most ISP/ESP would start rejecting/blocking your mails from delivering making them to stay in queue..

Secondly, it does matter your IP reputation.....
Anyways, let's see if this could be handled....

What is your server SPEC?
Also, is it a cpanel based server?
OR do we say you are yet to get a server but need one?
Thank you!

Hi Kolly Dotation,

Yes we have user permission to send emails.

The question is about which Server Spec we need.

Does this kind of server will be enough ?

Intel Xeon E5
2x E5-2640v3 16c/32t
2,6 / 3,4 GHz 128 Go RAM
DDR4 ECC 2133 MHz
2x4To SAS SOFT

Thanks!

Oh!....This is very more than enough of course.....Now depends on the logistic....
Is it WHM/Cpanel base???
Also, is it Centos?

Thank you!

Yes now is the question about logistic, we won't have cpanel neither WHM as we have someone that customize everything on the server and make it light.

What would be a good logistic? We think about using a lot of subdomains and emails / dedicated IP to handle Yahoo / hotmail etc limits per IP / Day

- whitelist instructions per freemium provider
- user engagement (more than just opens and clicks - encourage leads to email you back for questions/suggestions)
- correctly setup feedback loop/bouncing processing
- limit connections per ISP/messages sent per connection
- warm you IP(s) to where it looks like you're gradually adding leads i.e. on an upward curve
- correct setup of rDNS, DKIM, SPF, etc.
- adjustable backoff/rate limiting
- most importantly, having great data
