difference between unsubscribe rate and clicks on link

Hey,

Another item i wanted to clear up please was the difference from the amount of people who have been included in the unsubscribe rate, in the campaign reports. And the amount of people who have clicked on the unsubscribe according to the same report;

which would be more accurate in saying how many people have actually unsubscribed, and why the difference? Passive unsubscribes because of blacklisting email address / complaints?

thanks

Well, clicked links report is not that trustful because one can click the unsubscribe link but not really unsubscribe (this does not apply to the tag you shown because that does a direct unsubscribe).
Beside the moment when a subscriber unsubscribes from the list via the normal channel, that is, the unsubscribe form, a subscriber can be unsubscribed by the system automatically if the system receives a FBL/complaint request for him.

Yet it appears in the 'Unsubscribe Rate' in campaign overview.

It would be better if those unsubscribe clicks are counted separately from the actual unsubscribes to keep the stats correct

Even more importantly, when going into 'view details' the 'Unsubscribe Report' then says "This report shows all the unsubscribes for this campaign." which is definitely not so as the »clicks-but-not-unsubscribes« are included.

May it therefore be requested this be rectified asap, dear @twisted1919 ?

thx ;)
