Problem with State field?

State field dropdown is great and basically offers Country/State as the option to choose (ie: Italy/Rome).
My issue is, the form is long, very long and slow on mobile.

1) So what is the best way to show only 1 OR 2 Country/State ("Italy/* field")?

2) Is this a best way to segment user for city?
I need a newsletter campaign with segment only users located in Rome OR better and in an Italian region?
I know that segments are just conditions that target custom fields

3) Confirm that State field is better that geoip: perhaps the IP does not always return real location data? On my 4g smathphone my ip is located in Cagliari but i I live in Turin

If you put the country field first, then the state field, then mailwizz will first show you the countries, and then, when you select the country, the state field, will only show you the zones/states in that country.

They do different things. If your data already have the right states, then it only makes sense to use the state fields.

Hi and sorry for this new question.
I have an issue with state field that is not update for Italy.

In Italy the State (Province) are 107.
So it’s very different from Mailwizz DB
What the best clean solution to update it?

@under - You can update the provinces from Backend > Locations > Zones

I need import in Mailwizz some users with zones in CODE.

Note that you can't import zones, you will have to adjust them manually in the zones area.
