Can We have Mutex and Cache on 2 Different Redis Serve?

We are planning to split our Redis Server for Mutex and Cache separately due to the fact that we need to sometime flush redis database and it flushes cache as well.
is there any restriction that both servers need to be on same physical host?

You can use two separate servers/clusters
