Why are campaign emails only being sent to confirmed individuals on Email list?

Hey Folks,

I'm attempting to create a campaign that contains individuals that are both confirmed & unconfirmed. When I send the campaign though, only the confirmed individuals receive an email while the unconfirmed don't receive any correspondence. Am I overlooking a field that needs my attention when creating the campaign?
 
If you use double opt-in for your list, only confirmed contacts can be contacted. If you don't care about possible spam subscribers, switch your list to single opt-in and every subscription is automatically confirmed upon initial sign-up.

For the existing list (though not recommended), you could simply switch all unconfirmed to confirmed by exporting the list and re-importing it with the confirmed value in on all records.
