Unable to send test email

I am trying to send a test email to myself and I keep receiving this error message:

"Unable to send the test email to _____! (Email address is not verified. The following identities failed the check in region US-East-1: _______)"


I know my email address is correct and I am able to receive emails from other people. So I am unsure why I cannot send a test email to myself. Also, I added myself to the subscriber list that I am planning to send this email to just in case the reason it wasn't working was because my email address wasn't in the system.

Any thoughts as to why this is happening?
 
@Asheton Ferguson - From the error message seems you are using amazon ses for sending emails.
Did you verify the email address you used in the FROM field, at amazon ? Because you have to do this. You also have to ask production access from amazon before sending any campaign ;)
