The number of views of the YouTube video is far less than the number of clicks

Hello team,

Yesterday, I used MailWizz to send 2 newletters to different subscribers via SendGrid. In each newsletter, there were two links leading to the same YouTube video.

So far MailWizz shows that, in the first newsletter, there were over 1900 clicks to https://u33435548.ct.sendgrid.net/l...pZppjugaxW-2BMVJAmgJZYER-2BioRsanTq-2Fw-3D-3D, and over 1800 clicks to www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwsJvzxuHCQ.

In the second newsletter, there were over 1100 clicks to https://u33435548.ct.sendgrid.net/l...pZppjugaxW-2BMVJAmgJZYER-2BioRsanTq-2Fw-3D-3D and 1100+ clicks to www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwsJvzxuHCQ.

However, when we check the views of the YouTube video, there were over 60 views so far. Even though we know that the click statistics provided by MailWizz does not represent unique clicks, the number of views (which are unique views) of the YouTube video should have been far more than over 60.

Does anyone know what may be reason for this disparity?

That's expected, you're looking at all clicks not unique clicks, but even for unique clicks, you can have a higher number showing up because your links can be verified by a spam filters and those actions are registered as real clicks.

Is there a reliable way to track the number of the clicks by humans (in addition to the number of views of a YouTube video)?

Unfortunately, there are flaws in any way you decide to go. As your sender reputation increases, you'll face less and less problems like this.
