Question about copying subscribers

I want to use the Copy function to copy subscribers between lists. Two questions, though:

a) Does the Copy function copy *all* subscriber data for the selected subscribers, including custom fields, or just the email address and IP address?

b) What happens if a subscriber already exists on the target list -- will that subscribe be updated (i.e. data from source list copied into target list) or skipped?

It copies all data, including custom fields (the ones that match target list fields)

b) What happens if a subscriber already exists on the target list -- will that subscribe be updated (i.e. data from source list copied into target list) or skipped?

Will be updated.
