Manage List & Subscribers

Hello
Facing a challenge in managing subscribers. If we add a subscriber in 2 separate lists then a unique ID is given to the same subscriber in both the lists.

Now if someone wants to update that subscriber(First Name/Last Name) then he has to do it in both the lists, Can't this be done automatically for all the lists in which that subscriber is added (Not via Sync Tool)

Now when a import is happening for a new list, Can the import process check whether the email ID is present or not, If present then it should not be uploaded or if done then same details should be updated ALONG with status of Unsubscribe/Blacklisted.

This can only be done with Lists > Tools > Sync

When you create / update a list, you have this option available: Subscriber Actions There you can select multiple lists for which subscribers need to unsubscribe, and when a subscriber is added to this list, then they will be unsubscribed from all selected lists.

I just tried doing it
List 1 -email was unsubscribed (a@abc.com)

New List Created - List-2
Option checked also

In the new list a@abc.com shows as confimred not unsubscribed.

Yeah, because mailwizz keeps the lists separate, that's the desired behavior. One subscriber might be part of a list with some details and part of another with other details.
There's no way to put a trigger anywhere so that if a subscriber changes it's details in a list, it will do so in other lists as well.

Yes That's What it's required for current Marketers ! Subscriber Management ... ! It's all about list cleaning & management.

MailWizz is a great Application and should think of making/changing the DB style as many other players are already doing it...
