Hi,

We have noticed when deleting contacts it affects historic reports which is not ideal, would it not be better to actually soft delete he subscriber something like archiving them.

This will also allow for contacts to be restored if a mistake was made, We have migrated quit a large number of clients and this is one of the issues being brought up frequently.

Unfortunately, adding a soft delete for the subscribers is not an option now. Considering that the deletion is made manually by you, or automatically by the system for the inactive subscribers if you choose so, you can create a custom list that you can update it somehow to know that a subscriber is deleted.

That’s a shame, you do understand if a customer deletes a subscribers it affects historic reporting data which is less than ideal. None of the other systems handles deletion in this way.

Than you can choose not to delete them. As I told you, there are ways around using the custom fields to mark them as inactive.

Yes I do understand that but from a end user/customer's perspective who has come from any of the other systems it does no make sense that reporting data is lost when a subscriber is deleted. We have disabled deleting for all our customers only issue with this is there contacts will grow indefinitely. The system unfortunately counts all contacts even if they are marked as inactive.

Hello! How can I make sure that subscribers who have not activated their subscription receive a reminder letter after 3 months? And after 6 months, they are automatically deleted if they have not activated their subscription?
