Shows errors like this
The /bin/bash shell is not always available apparently.
Can you try with /bin/sh ?
docker exec -it mailwizz-webserver /bin/sh
Yes, this command works.
But I don't understand, how do I change the settings of these services.
Why I ask is because the VPS constantly crashes. VPS parameters are:
VDS/VPS «Micro» [NL] (1 СPU/1 GB RAM/20 GB SSD)
Is this not enough?
Most likely you will have to add more resources to it and see if that fixes your issue.
And what requirements are setup with Docker?
It depends on the amount of info you're adding in mailwizz.
Eitherway, that 1GB VPS with just one core, can't do big deal, all those resources are consumed by the Operating system alone.
Wait for mysql (20 seconds)...
/root/mailwizz-install.sh: line 7: /var/www/mailwizz/html/apps/common/data/install-sql/schema.sql: Permission denied
The one bash command install is a nice idea, and sometimes, when all is rightly setup for it, it actually works, but oft folks have a vps and custom setup, and then you have a docker (virtual machine) on a vps (another virtual machine)...and considering that mwz install is really no big deal, it might help avoid extra custom-made docker-related problems, if you just go bare-metal or bare-vps
Do you run the installer as root ?
You could try a chmod 0666 /var/www/mailwizz/html/apps/common/data/install-sql/schema.sql and then re-run the installer and see how that goes.
P.S: Apparently the new installer has some issues on some hosts, so if installing like @frm.mwz says is an option, do that.
Tried this myself. Script seemed to go fine, but I can't access it. Chrome just sits on "connecting" forever
How do I export mysql backup in the database if I have installed mailwizz using one bash command?
Connect to the mailwizz-php docker container and from there export it with usual myswl commands. then move it in a web accessible location and download it via your browser.
Please check my support request. You have not been replying. Something needs to be done on the bounce handler. It is becoming wired and frustrating.
@Kollydaton - i'm answering to people with active support tickets first
The bounce handler works just fine, but if you clog it with tens of thousand of emails because your list quality is low, then mailwizz simply cannot keep up going through so many emails and process them. So clean your list before, then upload it back in mailwizz and you'll get a decent bounce rate that mailwizz can handle
That's not it and it shouldn't suppose to be. The older version of your app handles as high as multiple bounces. Most of my list is clean and 90% of the bounces are soft and not hard. But it shouldn't stop Mailwizz from handling theme.
In fact, even your app sometimes mark what suppose to be "SOFT" as "HARD". I detected another one today.
I have been using your App for years and have I ever complain about the bounce issue before now?
This simply means, your new release isn't cool with handling bounces.
It's still need to be fixed please.
And more so, Are you saying if I renew my support package you would fix it or what ?????
Yes, renew your support pack.
Okay..... On it...
I just renewed it.
