GrapeJs Image upload issue.

Hello Support team,

I am using grapeJs as default template builder in which i am facing 2 issues :
1)when trying to upload image, nothing happes only a request for upload runs which gives response of {"data":[]} and image is not displayed.




2)Error message is displayed while editing : This CKEditor 4.9.2 version is not secure. Consider upgrading to the latest one, 4.25.0-lts.




Please provide me the solution for the above issues.

It seems you're using an older version of the app, please upgrade to latest.

Hi Twisted,

But there is no warning or error message for App upgrade once loggin to backend.
And this issue is only with GrapeJs builder , normal builder is able to upload the files.

I tested this on our development environment, and everything appears to work correctly. Based on the response you mentioned ({"data":[]}), this might be related to File Permissions please ensure that the directory where images are being uploaded has proper write permissions: https://www.mailwizz.com/kb/folders-writable-web-server/

any particular folder require 777 permission ?
Also can you provide me zip file for ckeditor 4.25.0

@twisted1919 I'm able to add the image but when i add the template to campaign or send a test email using this template .
Images are not visible in mail, only the text is displayed.

Basically i have send the template to mail using the button :" send a test email using this template " in template edit.


I tried on both official and personal email ids on both emails the images was displayed as broken.

go to https://www.mail-tester.com/ and pick an address from there, then send an email like you did above, but to that address. then tell us which mail-tester address you have used.

After you add in your list email generated on https://www.mail-tester.com/ , you need to send campaign, after campaign is sent you need to click on that button to check score, this will redirect you on a new url, that url we need.

Please check the report, it says it can't load your image because of a dns record issue, i.e:

is not valid.
https://mailings.services.lanxess/ is also not working.

mailings.services.lanxess can be access via internal network only its not available externally.
Before using grapeJs , i was able to get images in template in mail using ckeditor builder.

Just to show you, image is still accessiable on my network.


Then what is the issue with grapeJs ?
