Embedded images from CDN

Hi,

Is it possible to embed images that are loaded on a CDN, we use the unlayered editor and images are hosted on S3.

If not is it something that can be added in the future? We want to keep as little as possible on the mailwizz server regarding mailing assets.

@dreyerretief there's https://codecanyon.net/item/amazon-s3-integration-for-mailwizz-ema/17924445 which can be used to send assets to S3, but it only works for email templates you upload as ZIP. You can take a look at the extension and hire somebody to modify it to your needs.

The assets are already on S3 but it seems the mailwizz engine won't embed images that are not local.

I don't see why MailWizz would block these, I'd say to check it because there's no cide anywhere in MailWizz that does this.

If an campaign is set to embed and there is an image in the src something like: https://graphicemailunlayered.s3.af...-Strategic-Marketing-and-Pricing-SVG-01-2.png

The image does not embed even if it is set to embed.

And that's a good thing, embedding images will make your email very large for absolutely no reason.

I know embedding is not the best thing but I would still like it to work, do you thing it is possible to embed remote images at all.

For certain campaigns we would like to use embedded images that are reference from the CDN. Is this possible?

unfortunately no, we will only embed images from local storage, not remote.
