As a new user - need help with my queries on Safety measures - My Setup - Best Practices. Please guide me.
Sorry as it's long to read but for you easy to understand. If anything repeats plz just say already answered above or AAA.

My setup :-
a) 1 VPS with 1 domain, 1 IP hosting mailwizz.
domain - abc.biz
Subdomain - Mailwizz on unsub.abc.biz (for unsubscribe url)
Cloudflare DNS - A @ IP, A unsub IP, MX and CNAME www IP (ALL enabled proxy)
1) Anything missing ?
2) Should i change the domain to .com (not using for sending/receiving/anything - just to host mailwizz)

b) 1 VPS with smtp, IP rotation used for sending via mailwizz. Hosted domain not used for sending.
domain - 5 domains all .com
Subdomain - server.domain.com, server1.domain.com
IP - ALL different ranges like 23.xxx.xx.xx & 123.xx.xx.xx etc RDNS setup.
Cloudflare DNS - A server IP, MX, SPF, DMARC, DKIM
1) Anything missing ?

MX records - Both a) and b) are being forwarded using cloudflare email routing to gmail address. Can also use 3rd part like ForwarMX etc.
1) Which to prefer for safety from complains if any.

Questions :- b) Setup 1 VPS with smtp, IP rotation used for sending
1) The setup is 5 month old and continuously warming 50 emails per id i.e 5*4=20 id = 1000 / day (30%)

a) What should be the sending pattern using mailwizz per server. For ex- per day/ per hr limit (will use 20 delivery servers for 20 IDs). Any link to pattern for best reputation ?
b) Does MX record forwarding helps in case of complaints ?
c) Should I use proxy on these sending domains on cloudflare. Not using A record but A subdomain record to connect to server. ?
d) Want each domain to get a setup in mailwizz for their own tracking urls and unsubs url which cannot be reversed to domain or IP on Mailwizz setup a). How to achieve that ?
e) extension of a) How to configure sending quota. Can after 5 months of warmup I can start to send 5k/hr or more how does this work ? How people reach to send 100k/hr.
f) Should I use subdomain email id for reputation management ? Like
ask@mail.xyz.com email id.

Questions :- a) Setup 1 VPS with 1 domain, 1 IP hosting mailwizz. Hosted domain not used for sending.
1)
Brand new domain and IP

a) Same as d) above I do not want to use this setup tracking and unsub url (though made subdomain unsub if this cannot be achieved).
b) I do not want the domain or IP to be associated anywhere while using mailwizz for sending.

c) How to setup followup emails - On various other platforms they send around 2-3 emails after every 2-3 days for followup. How to achieve that in Mailwizz.
d) I can limit the sending of emails per day, per hour, per min, per sec and add pause but what about increment day by day. Can you add a functionality here ? I don't want to use warmup plans as they are difficult to grasp doesn't fit with my settings that i can do with delivery server limits.
e) I do not want people to know that they are a part of mailing list. Read here that gmail and others will tell you in header. How to configure specific headers only for unsub.
f) Read here that when domain is proxied on cloudflare than it cannot be used for CNAMES for tracking domains ? How to configure this with safety measures.
g) I know 1-click unsub url to add in mailwizz but Separate button inside mailwizz for report spam or raise complaint so that it comes to use for resolution ?

Last - This might be answered above but just to confirm again. I clean, verify and process each unsub, spam and abuse complains if any manually.
a) Do my settings help with safety and security of each domain and IP i.e want to receive all complains myself to resolve rather than with ISP or Domain registrar.
b) How to receive all of this on 1 platform via mailwizz for monitoring. Previously, I used email forwarding to gmail. What works best ?
c) Changing domain IP of server & SPF - will it reset the sender reputation even when both IP were warmed up with same email ids.
d) Does sending only Plain text helps with email deliverability.

e) How to fully utilize each and every aspect of Mailwizz as a newbie. Is there any guide which explains everything step by step ?

I tried to gather all my queries and post in 1 thread rather creating individuals. Sorry if its too long. Hope this helps & let me know if any followup questions you have. Hope, I can scale my business using Mailwizz. Thank you Mailwizz Team

Hello and welcome to this great forum,

While Mailwizz staff may be busy right now, let me quickly help you with some answers

1) Anything missing ?
No
2) Should i change the domain to .com (not using for sending/receiving/anything - just to host mailwizz)
No need, since you are only using it to host Mailwizz

Subdomain - server.domain.com, server1.domain.com
What are you using the subdomains for? As host name of IP address?
MX records - Both a) and b) are being forwarded using cloudflare email routing to gmail address. Can also use 3rd part like ForwarMX etc.
1) Which to prefer for safety from complains if any.
In order to give you an appropriate answer, are you saying you are routing email to gmail address for bounce processing purpose?
1) The setup is 5 month old and continuously warming 50 emails per id i.e 5*4=20 id = 1000 / day (30%)
Do you mean 50 emails per delivery server?
b) Does MX record forwarding helps in case of complaints ?

If you have created email address and use the credentials to setup FBL on Mailwizz. Then proceed further to setup MX records for the email address. It helps in case of complaints but not for all ISP

c) Should I use proxy on these sending domains on cloudflare. Not using A record but A subdomain record to connect to server. ?
No, do not do that

e) extension of a) How to configure sending quota. Can after 5 months of warmup I can start to send 5k/hr or more how does this work ? How people reach to send 100k/hr.
You can even start sending more than 5k/hr after 5 months of proper IP warmup
f) Should I use subdomain email id for reputation management ? Like sender@mail.xyz.com email id.
Your question here is not clear to me.

a) Same as d) above I do not want to use this setup tracking and unsub url (though made subdomain unsub if this cannot be achieved).
b) I do not want the domain or IP to be associated anywhere while using mailwizz for sending.
It can be achieved.

c) How to setup followup emails - On various other platforms they send around 2-3 emails after every 2-3 days for followup. How to achieve that in Mailwizz.
The feature is there, you need to learn how to use this.
a) Do my settings help with safety and security of each domain and IP i.e want to receive all complains myself to resolve rather than with ISP or Domain registrar.
If you are sending a dangerous cold mailing, some people like me and others who are experienced can report you to your server provider by looking up your delivery IP address via Arin or others. And then your server provider information will be pulled out.

c) Changing domain IP of server & SPF - will it reset the sender reputation even when both IP were warmed up with same email ids.
If you change the IP address of a domain, you need to rewarm the new IP address again. Although the domain's reputation won't be reset. It depends on the subscribers ISP and how they filter things. For example, Yahoo checks the reputation of IP addresses the most, and most times it does not care about domains provided the sending domains have not been marked as dangerous.

d) Does sending only Plain text helps with email deliverability.
Yes it does (But you still need to be careful about spam keywords)

Note: I skipped some questions not because I cannot answer them but because they are professional questions and need professional answers. Most of the things you are asking are achievable.

It is either you wait for Mailwizz support staff or get intouch with me for proper consultation.

Thank you so much Omni Knoweth for taking the time and answering the questions. It'll definitely help me get started.

1) I do check spam words.
2) Both IP on different servers are warmed up (5 months) so I guess pointing domain to other won't effect much.
3) Not sending to gmail, yahoo, outllook but maybe later using either google workspace or 365.

What are you using the subdomains for? As host name of IP address?
YES, also its better to use subdomain for domain reputation.

In order to give you an appropriate answer, are you saying you are routing email to gmail address for bounce processing purpose?
Not just bounce but everything. -
1) All incoming forwarded to gmail/use forwardMX services so that I can check everything at 1 place and clean it
2) If it helps not to get tracked back to IP add.

Do you mean 50 emails per delivery server?
Yes - 1 delivery server = 1 email ID = 1/4 of a domain

Will wait for mailwizz admins for their take on all of this too. @twisted1919
Thank you
