Elastic Email Cost of Contacts

I am using Elastic Email for sending, and it works well. The problem is that when I send a campaign the recipients are added as contacts to Elastic Email. The number of contacts builds up and I am getting crazy bills from Elastic Email. Is there a way of sending through Elastic Email without adding the recipients to their contact list? Is there a cheaper way of sending the emails?

It sounds like you might be on their Email Marketing plan and not their API plan.
