Double optin email to imported subscribers

Hello, i would please like to ask in which case will mailwizz sends optin email to an imported list.

What are the settings that will trigger it. Could importing a list with wrong list settings end up sending email optin to the whole list?

We don't send opt-in when importing.
If you need to have them opt-in again, import them as they are and send them a campaign to stay in your list, include a link in your email which when clicked transforms a custom field in a certain value and then filter by that value to see subscribers that want to remain in your lists, using segments.
 
Thank you very much for clearing this out. My fear has always been importing subscribers to a list with double optin set

I am glad to hear that sending optin by mistake can never happen.
