Does Max Subscribers overwrite Max Subscribers per list

Hi, I have a couple of Plan/group setup questions: I will list them below.

1: Does Max Subscribers overwrite Max Subscribers per list? If I have 1000 subscriber plan and unlimited lists. When the customer gets to 1000, can they start another list and do the same again? Or, Does Max Subscribers overwrite Max Subscribers per list.

2: What is a good/reasonable Max bounce rate and Max complaint rate?

3: What is a resonable Max. segment wait timeout?

4: In the campaigns settings (groups), theres a List unsubscribe header email in campaigns setting. Im not sure what that is and initial searches make it look a complex matter. can weeverything operate well without one? What is the best approach?

I think thats is for now. Thanks, Much appreciated.

PS; The search function doesnt work in the mailwizz knowledge base?

It is not overwrite it, is the maximum throughout all the lists. So yes, it doesn't make sense to have a Max subscribers per list bigger than the customer max subscribers.

2: What is a good/reasonable Max bounce rate and Max complaint rate?
I don't think there is any magic formula for this. Just google it and got something like this: https://www.fullstory.com/blog/what...ral guideline, a,explore more of your website.

3: What is a resonable Max. segment wait timeout?
Leave the default here. You will want a smaller value here, which means your segments are not so deep and the application can fetch the data fast.
4: In the campaigns settings (groups), theres a List unsubscribe header email in campaigns setting. Im not sure what that is and initial searches make it look a complex matter. can weeverything operate well without one? What is the best approach?
The email marketing best practices are dictating the existence of that header. Again, google these since they are part of the email marketing best practices: https://www.brevo.com/blog/list-uns...ioned prominently,to find an unsubscribe link.

Do you mean the search inside your MW application? If so, no.

I just woke up to this so need to wake up before thinking, about anything. But the search thing. No,. I mean the search on the mailwizz website: https://www.mailwizz.com/kb/ Even if I search for something that visible on that page such as; Get Started. Or in the common Issues section if I search for license. Nothing happens. at all.

also, the bounce rate thing you sent me toi was about PAGE bounce (website visits) rates. Not email subscriber bounce rates. I.ll google it. But initially, I want a record of my questions and issues of theing also that I need to learn so posting them here seemed a good idea to get a basic understanding as well as a record for me to dig deeper. Oh, and thanks for the response. Much appreciated.

The problem with that is, if I have a Plan with 1000 subscribers. Then they have to be able to use the 1000 subscribers on a single list. So Max subscribers of 1000 per list makes sense. So If a plan has the ability to make unlimited lists, and only 1000 subscribers. Then this is the reason I asked. Some people may want 2 lists and only have 400 (example) subscribers on each. But then if the Max subscribers is reached... are they then only allowed to go up to 500 subscibers on each of their lists. That was the reason I asked.

I read the post and thought I would add the unsubscribe email in the footer like this: <a href="[UNSUBSCRIBE_URL]">Unsubscribe</a> But when i view the source, mailwizz had changed the link to this <a href="%5BUNSUBSCRIBE_URL%5D">Unsubscribe</a>: I presume thats just the encoded version and the link will function okay.

But I have another question. If I add Email Templates that already include the unsubscribe link, will there be 2 unsubscribe links instead of just the one? So should I remove the unsibscribe link from the Email Templates in this case?

I also thought it would be prudent to add a mailto unsubscribe link in the header. Is that a reasonable approach to this? Thanks. Im currently looking into how to create the mailto unsubscribe link.

But have added this: to the header: <a href="mailto:unsubscribe@mail.com?subject=Unsubscribe%20Request&amp;body=Please%20unsubscribe%20me%20from%20your%20mailing%20list.">Click To Unsubscribe</a>

I presume this is okay? Thanks

I think is up to them to do the math. A plan with 1000 subscribers, can allow unlimited number of lists. Also the subscribers per each list is not necessary uniform distributed. With your last example they can have 3 lists, first 2 with 400 subscribers and last one with 200. There is no limitation here.

Yes, correct, that is just encoded.

Your email template unsubscribe link should have as a href the one the MW is generated. Otherwise, from where it is going to unsubscribe? You can also make the unsubscribe url or link tag not required (this is not recommended), from Backend->Settings->Campaigns->Template tags

MW is adding that by default. Just send an actual campaign.

I suggest you to see the videos: https://www.mailwizz.com/videos/

Thanks, Ive watched the videos a couple of times previously (a few mnths ago) and 50% of them since I purchased MW. Just watched them again and doesnt seem to be missing anything. Although, when I sent a test campaign, it was set to send at 1.30pm and my User account is set to: GMT-0.00 (UTC). (This is usually GMT+0.00). The emails were sent an hour late, 2.30pm. My server time is also the GMT+0.00 (UTC).

Any idea why theres an hour delay? Thanks again by the way. I appreciate your assistance getting things setup.

Hello,
Considering that the customer account is also UTC, please check in the Backend->Miscellaneous->Cronjobs history to see when the send-campaigns is running. It should run every minute, but some shared hosting are having limitations for the cronjobs frequency.

Thanks, Im on a VPS. I just checked and, send-campaigns is sent every minute. It was my main admin account but on the front end that sent the campaign and so I will check with another account/customer shortly

Maybe is matter of timezone. Remember, the timezone can be changed from the Customer account. If you cannot figure it out, please open a support ticket.

I figured out what wrong. In the UK now ir is not GMT0.00/GMT+0.00. Its DST which is one hour in front. Seems MW doesnt get adjusted as the PC clock does. So Mail wizz still thinks its one hour behind. So will need to use the GMT+1.00 option and change it manually myself when the clocks go back or forward. And also, my VPS clock will be wrong also. I will try just changing the VPS clock to see if that alters the GMT on Mail Wizz. Thanks again.

I think I solved it My server, PHP and Mailwizz were set to GMT, which is wrong as we are in Daylight Savings Time (DST), or clocks forward 1 hour.
I changed VPS to "Europe/London" which compensates automatically for DST. i used these comands:

sudo timedatectl set-timezone Europe/London
timedatectl
sudo timedatectl set-ntp true
sudo systemctl restart systemd-timesyncd

Set php.ini to date.timezone = "Europe/London"

Restarted php8.1-fpm

And changed Mail Wizz to (GMT+1.00) europe/London

Im not sure that option even appeared before. Im sure I searched for it. either way. I think that will fix everything. And believe the Europe/London setting in MailWizz will make the changes automatically? Maybe.

Thanks again.
