@ghimes / @Send Emailers - Generally this is related to the end part of the cron jobs, to the ">/dev/null 2>&1" part, because the control panel itself might add these automatically so it does not allow them. In this case, just don't add those.

Make sure you have enabled customer registration from Backend > Settings > Customers > Registration
