Autoresponder editing

Let's say I have 5 messages for an autoresponder to drip out, 1 per day.

If I leave message 4 and 5 with just placeholder text... can I edit those before they go out on days 4 and 5?

EDIT: meaning... if I edit the text of the messages before the subscribers get to that point, will the receive the updated text?
